Every great invention has a "why." Ours is Remy, my daughter’s dog. Remy is a playful, curious, and loving two-year-old pup who was born completely deaf. Watching her navigate a silent world taught us everything we needed to know about patience and resilience, but it also highlighted a gap: how do we give dogs like Remy the world they’ve never heard?

The K9-Echo was born from the desire to help Remy, and dogs like her, feel more connected to the sounds and signals of their environment.

What is K9-Echo?

The K9-Echo is the first AI-powered hearing-assist device designed for dogs born deaf or losing their hearing. It utilizes advanced biometric sensors and AI-driven behavioral analysis to translate the world around them into signals they can understand.

Key Features

  • Acoustic Mapping: Converts environmental sounds into gentle, haptic vibrations that help dogs identify the direction and intensity of noises.
  • Mood Mapping: Uses heart rate variability to let you know if your dog is anxious, excited, or relaxed.
  • The Echo Link: A two-way communication system that allows you to "check-in" using custom vibration patterns that act as "tactile commands."

Why It Matters

Our dogs give us their all, but for those with hearing loss, the world can be a confusing or isolating place. The K9-Echo is designed to give them a "voice" and a sense of awareness, ensuring their safety and well-being are always a priority.
